Hi, I'm new to Linux, and followed the guide for setting up Wow and Launcher in Linux-Mint 21.2. Using same client that i'm played until some days ago on Win, i'm able to start Wow, logging and play, but only using Wow.exe. Despite many attempts, Launcher.exe simply doesn't start.
The question is: Can i stil play, using wow.exe, without fear of being banned?

Nvm, problem solved.
Downgraded linux version from Linux Mint 21 to Linux Mint 20, followed again the guide, and all is working like a charm, launcher included, after deleting mpeg file in resources.

Good to hear you got it working. For future reference: yes, running via Wow.exe usually works fine and doesn’t trigger bans, as long as you’re not modifying the client or violating ToS. That said, always safer to use the launcher if it works, since it handles updates and integrity checks.
