How to get maniac points

Hello,
How can I get maniac points? I watched a video and it was said they are given at level 10 and in increments of 10 levels. Is this correct?

Yes. You get your first MP at lvl10 , at 20 it's 5mp, then 10 at 30,40,50, at 60 and 70 it's 20 and at lvl 80 you get 25. You also get MP every time you complete a dungeon using the random dungeon finder tool in-game and from a few quests as well.

Q: How do I get Maniac points and what are they used for?
A: Maniac points are earned by leveling up, doing RDF/RHC, voting, buying with in-game gold, or purchasing them from the store. They can be used for redeeming mounts, transmog tokens to purchase gear explicitly for transmogrification, convert into badges for gear upgrades at 80, heirloom gear for leveling, gear sets from previous raid tiers, and many other things you can discover at our custom mall.

Level 20: 5MP,
Level 30, 40, 50: 10MP,
Level 60, 70: 20MP,
Level 80: 25MP,

Note: Death Knights won't obtain any at 60, however they receive 20MP at level 70 and another 25MP at 80.
