Realmlist change

Hey Guys,
I tried changing the realmlist in the Data enGB file but it does not want to save it up. it says that i can't save it under the same name. anybody know how can i change the realmlist and save it ?

Use realmlist.wtf in your root wow directory and change it with the notepad. Save and relaunch the game. Hope that helps.

I don't see a realmlist anywhere, did I forget to download something?

Close the game/application that is using the realmlist.wtf file. Open Notepad with admin rights. Open the realmlist.wtf file (usually located in the game folder → Data → enGB or similar). Change the realmlist content to your liking. When saving, select "Save As" → format All Files → rename realmlist.wtf → save

Some things you may try:
- Right click the realmfile and select Open As Administrator.
Change the file according to how explained on this website: https://www.wow-mania.com/start
Save the file.

If you still can't save the file. I'd try this:

Copy the file to another location. For example your Desktop. Where you should have full access as a user.
Open the file as administrator. And change the file accordingly.
Save the file.

If all doesn't work.
Just create your own "realmlist.WTF" file.
Just open Notepad. Enter the realmname.
Save the file. It should be .txt file now.
If you have "show file extensions" on, just change the .txt into .WTF.
This should work as well.

However, in general, if you don't have permission to access / change files. The game may also cause problems.
The Installation directory isn't going to Program Files.
Meaning, you can install/unzip/copy the game directory to any other SSD/HD you have available.
