Login server is down it seems

Hangs on connecting for awhile then reports the error message:

Unable to connect. Please try again later...

Currently have other friends in game playing, but a couple of us can't login.

I was playing for about 2 hours and when wanting to switch characters, I couldn't log in again.

I was in an Instance and got disconnected and then couldn't log back in. Been trying for the past 3 hours.
